# Palette Redesign, Redis Support, and Previews

First off, we hope all our fellow Canadians 🇨🇦 had a good Thanksgiving. Second,
welcome to the first Railway changelog. From now on we'll be publishing a weekly changelog, with updates and improvements to Railway. [Follow us on
Twitter](https://twitter.com/Railway_App) to know exactly when new features and changes drop.

## Command Palette Redesign

Our command palette (⌘K) menu has received some improvements.

- Visual update so it is prettier to look at.
- Selected item will always be in view. Previously, if you down-arrowed a few
times, the selected item would go off screen.
- More spacing and fewer items visible at once so you don't get overwhelmed with
all of the possible commands.
- Navigate with Vim and Emacs bindings. Ctrl+(n/j) for navigating down and
Ctrl+(k/p) to navigate up. Keep your muscle memory intact.

## Redis Plugin

We've received many requests to add a Redis plugin to Railway. When you ask, we listen.
Now adding Redis to your project is as easy ⌘K. We were even impressed with
how fast the containers provision.

We are in the process of adding a custom UI that allows you to read/write from
the Redis store. It should land later today or early next week.

## Preview Deploys

Some users can now deploy their application to Railway's infrastructure with the
`railway up` command. This is intended to be used as a way to quickly preview your
app and share with other members of your team. Each deploy is given a unique URL
and all the deploys are visible on your project dashboard.

While Railway is itself a beta product, up is a very new feature. As a result, we're slowly releasing this feature to select members while we iron out the deployment cycle. If you need it now, join the [Discord](https://discord.gg/xAm2w6g) and let us know.
