# New Deployment Details View, Invoice Resolution, Heroku Buildpack Deprecation

Oh, Changelog time not monologue time. Got it.

## New Deployment Details View

Onions, ogres, and Railway now have something in common. [We all have layers.](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-FtCTW2rVFM)

[JR](https://twitter.com/jakerunzer) spent some time hacking away on a new interface pattern that will give you more room to parse logs for your deploys. (As well as a secret additional thing that will come later.)

Clicking a deploy will now open a layer on top of the deployment pane so you can *peel back* more information about your project. We’ve also added a new tab to the deployment page that shows exactly what config the deployment used when it went out. We have lots of plans for this interface and want to make sure everything remains predictable and intuitive so any feedback is welcome.

You can now search deployments by commit message in the command palette.

## Invoice Resolution

Railway gets a lot of fraud. Apparently, you can buy stolen credit card information by the boat load at ~~Walmart ~~the dark web. Fraudsters go use those credit cards to make accounts on here to deploy crypto-miners. As such, we have a lot of tight fraud rules that have a high false-positive rate. It’s not you, it’s us… and them.

What does this have anything to do with invoices? Well-meaning people who may get their credit card number wrong one time tend to flag our system. As a result, they are unable to upgrade because of an outstanding invoice. 

Now in Railway, you can see outstanding invoices at any tier- resolve it, and then be on your merry way. 

This is part of a long roadmap of payment enhancements we plan to introduce to the platform to make it easier for you to hand over money. (Such as enterprise pricing quotes.)

## Heroku Buildpack Deprecation Timeline

Nixpacks has been GA on our platform for more than 4 months. 1,000+ GitHub stars and 400,000+ builds with it means we have enough confidence that we can fully cutover and remove the other buildpack options. 

**The Heroku and Paketo Buildpacks will be removed off Railway on November 14th, 2022.**

All new projects already use Nixpacks as the default. After November 14th, it will be impossible to change the builder to either Heroku or Paketo buildpacks. We ask that you attempt a new build with Nixpacks if you haven’t already and flag any issue that you face in [Discord](https://discord.gg/railway) or our [Canny](https://feedback.railway.app/). We will be prioritizing experience breaking bugs as p0 before the final deprecation.

## Improvements and Fixes

- A lot of foundational infra changes on the backend that are a step to us unblocking some major features.
