# Metrics v2, Check Suites, and Scaling Railway

This week we’re coming in hot bringing a pair of highly successful Priority Boarding features into general availability.

Re-introducing Metrics v2 and Check Suites!

## Metrics v2 Generally Available

We’re bringing Metrics v2 into general availability in this release. As a reminder, metrics are now [much faster](https://railway.app/changelog/2023-02-03-new-metrics-scala-support), especially when looking at 1d and 7d intervals.

In addition, network metrics are now calculated over a time window as opposed to showing cumulative network totals.

Improved metrics are now the default option in the dashboard. Simply click on a service and navigate to the `Metrics` tab to get started.

## Check Suites Generally Available

With [check suites](https://docs.railway.app/deploy/deployments#check-suites) enabled, Railway will wait for GitHub Actions to finish before kicking off a PR deployment.

The feature is available in service level settings for GitHub-connected services.

## Scaling Railway: Support Automation

We’re continuing the Scaling Railway series with a look at how we do support automation. [This piece](https://blog.railway.app/p/scaling-railway-automating-support) is written by Support Engineer [Angelo](https://twitter.com/ngeloxyz) and covers some of the automations we’ve put in place to properly support our growing user base.
