# Introducing Template Bounties, New Plan Migration

Welcome one, welcome all, from far and wide … to the great template festival in the sky! ✈️

What a schedule we have for you this evening. Without further ado, let’s introduce the highlight of the night, the introduction of the [Template Bounties program](https://github.com/railwayapp/templates/wiki/Template-Bounties)!

That’s right, that’s right, we’re talking template bounties!

Who doesn’t like that?

But seriously folks, let’s talk about templates…

## Template Bounties

[Image: There are a large number of new template requests with bounties]

In order to keep raising the bar for applications that can be run and built on Railway, we need to keep upping the bar on templates.

Templates bring in new users, show us what’s possible on the platform, and help us understand the best way to bring new and delightful features to our customers.

So we’re over the moon to share that we’ve earmarked more than $5K+ in disbursements for the community to claim as part of a new Template Bounties program!

The tl;dr is that we’re funding community generation of a number of templates that we’d really like to see on Railway.

This includes a wide range of popular open source tools like [Temporal](https://github.com/railwayapp/templates/issues/424) and [Chroma](https://github.com/railwayapp/templates/issues/434), as well as a number of starters and other templates.

Upon passing acceptance criteria, templates will be compensated anywhere from $50 - $500.

To get started, read up on the program on the [Template Bounties](https://github.com/railwayapp/templates/wiki/Template-Bounties) page.

From there you’ll want to start looking for [an issue](https://github.com/railwayapp/templates/issues) that appeals to you.

Good luck!

## New Plans Have Been Migrated

At long last we’ve completed migration of all Railway users over to new and upgraded plans. Hooray!

By now you’ve probably received a number of emails and updates about it so we’re just glad that we’ve all made it through to the other side.

From here we have so much fun stuff planned — including Railway staff who are volunteering [crazy things](https://twitter.com/JustJake/status/1686863687414362112?s=20) if Regions doesn’t get shipped this quarter.

As always, you can come hang out with us on [Discord](https://discord.gg/invite/railway) and let us know what you like or don’t like about the product and experience.

Meanwhile, thanks for riding with us.
