# Templature Rising, Cron Jobs GA, Let’s Go Pro

While Taylor Swift keeps the economy humming along, Railway is free to focus on other things, like bringing you the best infrastructure experience on the internet. (Thanks Taylor!)

This week we’re dropping a few new singles into the rotation, including a burgeoning Template empire, Cron Jobs (which have lately seen a huge number of improvements), and a whole bunch of little quality-of-life improvements to keep your Railway experience the best it can be.

Without further ado, let’s get to it!

## The Templature is Rising

[Image: Railway now features more than 200 templates in its library!]

Last week we introduced [Template Bounties](https://railway.app/changelog/2023-08-04-template-bounties#template-bounties) to accelerate our mission to provide the best infra templates on the internet — and hoooo boy, you all delivered!

Out of 34 posted last week, we have 22 submissions, and they are looking super duper.

Here are some of the new things that recent templates have unlocked for you:

- [PostHog](https://railway.app/template/16rDub)!
- [Temporal](https://railway.app/template/AhDDtZ)!
- [Chroma](https://railway.app/template/tifygm)!
- [SQLite](https://railway.app/template/jOiNFt)!
- [Back up your Railway databases to S3](https://railway.app/template/U_wjYd?referralCode=lukeliasi)!

Want to get in on the fun? We still have [$2,500 in unclaimed bounties](https://github.com/orgs/railwayapp/projects/2/views/1) outstanding. Let’s see what ya got!

(And if you’ve already submitted a template or two: Thank you! You might have already seen Angelo on GitHub working dutifully to get your templates ready for the big payout.)

## Cron Jobs is Generally Available!

We’ve been talking about Cron Jobs for a few weeks now and thanks to your love and support we’ve made a whole bunch of improvements:

- Deployments no longer rebuild by default during a redeploy (Phew!)
- Cron expressions now fail fast if they’re invalid (Woohoo!)
- We now show you dates of future crons in the settings pane (True!)
- We now skip job execution if a previous cron is still running (Shrewd!)
- Cron schedules are now halted on change to empty or null in TOML (Kaboom!)
- And most importantly, cron jobs are now available to everyone! (Including you!)

One thing to note: We do now limit crons to run at a minimum interval of 15 mins.

## Go Pro (Team Edition)

[Image: Go Pro faster than ever when creating a new Team in Railway]

With the successful addition of the [new Hobby plan](https://blog.railway.app/p/introducing-trial-hobby-pro-plans) behind us, we realized it was still a little bit confusing when you would decide to create a team and go [Pro](https://docs.railway.app/reference/pricing#plans) … so we streamlined the process!

Now when you smash the [Create a Team](https://docs.railway.app/reference/teams) button in the user menu, there’s a simple one-page workflow to upgrade your Railway ticket.

Well, you might ask, *Why should you go Pro*?

Here’s why:

- Bump your specs up to 32 GB RAM / 32 vCPU per Service!
- Get a shared workspace to bring your team along for the ride!
- Horizontal scaling!
- Private networks!
- Unlimited concurrent builds!

The list goes on, but that’s the tl;dr.

If you want to give us feedback about Pro features you expect, we’d love to hear it. Drop by our [Roadmap](https://feedback.railway.app/) and leave a suggestion, or swing by our [Discord](https://discord.gg/invite/railway) and let us know your thoughts.
