# Log Explorer, Project Transfers, EDU License

Let’s talk about logs.

Anyway you slice it, there are few things more important to delivering a great developer experience than logs. They need to be easy to find, easy to read, easy to search, easy to navigate, easy to introspect, and just in general a joy to use.

That’s why lately we’ve been on a tear making improvements to the Railway log experience, and today we’re pleased to ship a new Log Explorer into Priority Boarding.

Let’s jump into it!

## Log Explorer to Priority Boarding

[Video: It’s now easier than ever to search and filter logs with Log Explorer]

As mentioned, we’re releasing a new Log Explorer that makes searching and navigating application logs a breeze. 🍃

Here’s what we’re delivering with Log Explorer:

- View all logs for a project environment in one place
- Expand logs to view associated tags
- View-in-context for individual log (eg. show full stack trace when searching for errors)
- Filter by deployment, service, etc.
- Autocomplete for tag-based filters
- Filter state in URL for historical navigation and sharing

This is the first iteration of a few that are coming up shortly — but we wanted to get it into your hands as quickly as possible. In future releases we’ll be shipping a pretty wonderful refactoring (if we may say so ourselves) of the logging interface.

But that’s for another time. 😜

Meanwhile, to try out the new Log Explorer, first make sure to jump onto [Priority Boarding](https://docs.railway.app/reference/priority-boarding). Once you’re on PB, you should be able to expand any deployment log and smash the `View in Context` button to open the explorer.

## EZPZ Project Transfers

[Image: There’s now a handy interface for transferring Projects from team to team]

We’ve fielded a good amount of feedback asking for an easy way to transfer Projects from team to team. This was clearly a good suggestion, so we went ahead and implemented it for you.

You’re now able to access the Project Transfer modal by visiting Project Settings. At the bottom of the General section is where you’ll find the new magic button.

We hope this makes it easier for those of you juggling a number of different projects and teams.

Enjoy! 💫

## EDU License

By popular demand, we’ve created a new [EDU license program](https://docs.railway.app/reference/pricing#educational-license)!

If you represent an educational institution and are looking to purchase Railway in bulk for students, please [drop us a line](https://docs.railway.app/reference/pricing#educational-license) as we’re now able to provide batch credits over a fixed amount of time.

We’d be happy to answer any questions and set you up for the upcoming semester, so don’t be shy!

## Improvements and Fixes

- For Pro users, we increased the number of max Volumes per project to QTY 10
- We started making plans to limit Rollbacks to 7 days of history
- We fixed an issue with billing page visibility for users without an active subscription
