# Date Picker, Scoped Dashboard, Removal of Locked Plugins

Welcome, welcome, welcome to a very spooktacular changelog! 🎃

We’re excited to roll out a few new things for you this week, including a new way to filter logs and an improved onboarding experience for teams.

Let’s jump into it!

## Date Picker for Logs

[Image: It’s now possible to view logs with relative and absolute time periods]

We spent a couple days browsing and testing pre-built date picker solutions but none of them sparked joy. We wanted something that would be robust when filtering through hundreds of thousands of logs, yet still approachable from a UX standpoint.

So we wrote our own custom component!

To use the new date picker, head over to the Observability tab from the Railway canvas. There you’ll find the ability to use absolute or relative (and semantic or precise) date ranges.

You might be interested to know that we also integrated a nifty NLP parsing library to let you make semantic date requests like `last week`, `last month`, and `a fornite ago` (kidding on this last one) to make things easier for you.

As always, please [jump on Discord](https://discord.gg/railway) and let us know what you think!

## New Team Migration Experience

[Image: There’s a new way to transfer Projects from your Personal Account to your team when you upgrade to the Pro plan]

We’ve made a number of improvements to the overall flow when upgrading to a [Pro](https://railway.app/pricing) account. 💪

The first thing you’ll notice is that we’ve added a new way to transfer Projects over from your Personal Account. If you’d like to bring one or one-hundred projects over from your Personal Account, it’s now easy to do so.

As part of this upgrade we’ve also rolled out a new scoped account view to make it easier to reason about which team you’re navigating.

You’ll notice in the screencap above that your current team is now featured prominently in addition to the [new account dropdown](https://railway.app/changelog/2023-09-22-workspaces-launch-week#account-dropdown-ui-priority-boarding) that’s been in [Priority Boarding](https://docs.railway.app/reference/priority-boarding) for a few weeks.

We hope you like it! Let us know what you think on [Discord](https://discord.gg/railway).

## Locked Plugins Removal

[Image: Locked plugins will be removed on January 31, 2024]

As we mentioned [last week](https://railway.app/changelog/2023-10-20-database-templates#database-templates-ga-on-monday), plugins have been deprecated in favor of database templates.

We’re letting you know now that all locked plugins will be deleted from Railway on January 31, 2024, which is 96 days away.

A locked plugin refers to plugins whose projects have run out of credits or users whose trial plan has ended. Since these plugins are already stopped and inaccessible, it shouldn’t be much of an impact.

Plugins that are locked by the end of January will be fully deleted and removed from Railway. We will keep snapshots of the containers which can be used for emergency data recovery. However we highly encourage you to unlock your plugin databases if they are in use.

We will be sending out periodic reminders if this will impact you over the next few months. If you’d like to avoid receiving emails, make sure to delete your locked plugins when convenient.

Watch this space next week when we’ll roll out the migration path from plugins to database templates.

That’s all for now — have a great Halloween! 👻
