# Public Profiles, GraphiQL Improvements, Community Forum Improvements

To the Americans: Gobble gobble! 🦃

To everyone else, happy normal and uneventful week of no significance. ✨

The international and worldwide team of Railway were still at it this week delivering new features and improvements while the U.S. team was out for the holiday.

This week we’re bringing a number of nifty improvements to the way users share and develop on Railway.

Lets dive in!

## Public Profiles Are Here

[Image: Public Profiles may be enabled in Account Settings]

We’ve enabled public profiles in Railway!

~~Eagle~~ Turkey-eyed users on the platform have already noticed a new field within the account settings that lets you set a username — the bird is out of the bag.

Grab your username in [Account Settings](https://railway.app/account) before anyone else gets it!

By default, public profiles will feature your [published templates](https://docs.railway.app/reference/templates#how-to-create-a-template) and [public projects](https://docs.railway.app/develop/projects#public-projects) on the platform (coming soon).

However, the product team needs your help: We’ve had a number of 10-hour conference calls on what statistics and items we might highlight for the public profile. 😜

We’ve determined that it’s best for you, the user, to [sound off in the Community Forum](https://community.railway.app/discuss/thread/public-profiles-842d0b52) and let us know what you’d like to see.

Thanks in advance for the input!

## GraphiQL Improvements

[Image: We’ve upgraded the GraphiQL Playground]

We have more developers building on the Railway platform than ever before. We also have more developers building **for** the Railway platform.

To help the developers who support the developers who develop, we have improved the experience for `subscriptions` on Railway.

GraphQL subscriptions in the [Public API](https://docs.railway.app/reference/public-api) power the real-time experiences for logging, metrics, and much more, and we have a bunch of partners who wish to take advantage of these API primitives.

To help this development, we’ve added Explorer support and improved Subscription support to the [GraphiQL playground](https://railway.app/graphiql) and the Public API.

Enjoy!

## Community Forum Improvements

Railway is bringing back forum culture one PR at a time. We know that not all Railway users aren’t zooped up Zoomers who chug down red-bulls. Some of us … prefer the sugar-free variant and maybe limit ourselves to an energy drink at most once a month.

We are impressed with the quality discussions in the forum so far and we are working day and sometimes night to improve the overall forum experience.

Here are some nifty improvements to the [Community Forum](https://community.railway.app/) we’ve shipped this week:

- Status badges
- Markdown support
- Feature request statuses
- Stomped numerous CSS bugs

*In case you were wondering: userbars are planned. *🧓
