# Email Alerts for Volumes, Postgres High Availability Template

Happy Friday, Passengers!

We’ve got an express version of the changelog for you this week as the team is heads down laying new tracks for improved Railway performance and reliability.

Two programming notes.

First, if you haven’t already, please drop a comment on the [Nits Superthread](https://help.railway.app/feedback/request-tell-us-about-your-nits-on-the-a3c5878e) with any papercuts, annoyances, issues, or bugs you’re running into on Railway. Our goal is to address every single item that makes it to this list so please don’t be shy.

Second, we wanted to let you know that we just [posted yet another 40% m/m increase](https://x.com/Railway/status/1822061645016989962) in template payouts. If you haven’t started creating templates yet, you might want to give it a shot — especially now that [template kickbacks](https://railway.app/open-source-kickback) are [payable in cash](https://blog.railway.app/p/template-kickback-program-cash).

(You may also like to know that high availability database templates are now possible — read on to find out more about that!)

Ok that’s it for the housekeeping items, let’s get on with the show!

## Email Alerts for Volumes

[Image: Email alerts now include a full volume usage alert]

Let’s talk about email alerts.

If we send you too few email alerts, you might miss important information that you need to receive.

If we send you too many email alerts, you might get annoyed and stop reading them, which means you might miss important information that you need to receive.

It’s a delicate balance and we’ll be the first to admit that our email notifications are still being tuned for maximum performance.

Over the next few weeks we’ll making a number of improvements to email alerting.

This week, we’ve added a nifty new email alert to let you know when you have a Volume that’s approaching maximum capacity.

To manage your email alert settings, check out your [Account Settings](https://railway.app/account).

Onward!

## Postgres High Availability Template

[Image: There’s a new high availability Postgres template]

As we mentioned in the introduction, the templates program is growing really, really fast.

In addition to templates created by the community, we’re working to add more mature database templates to the library.

This week we created a highly requested [template to deploy a PostgreSQL high availability cluster](https://railway.app/template/GsthnV).

The template contains four services and all inter-node communication is done over the private network.

Give the template a try [here](https://railway.app/template/ha-postgres).

That’s all for this week, have a great weekend! ✌️

## Fixes and Improvements

- We released a new [Cloudflare Tunnel template](https://railway.app/template/cf-tunnel) and guide that lets you connect your Railway resources to Cloudflare without a publicly routable IP address
- We fixed an issue with the live metrics on the [Features](https://railway.app/features) page
- We introduced a new sitewide footer on the static landing pages 😎
