[Railway.com](http://railway.com/) **is finally here! 🎉**

Let’s keep it real—perception is everything. From the start, we've been grinding day in and day out as a team, earning your trust one deployment, reliability improvement, monitoring feature, and bug fix at a time. We're not here to just make a product; we’re here to build something that sticks and lasts until the end of the internet.

We wanted the *dot-com*, we went for it, and... we got it! Now, you too can bask in the glory of our shiny new domain and beautifully crafted landing page. Just a little reminder to ourselves and to you, our amazing customers: this is *only* Day 1 🚀.

We’ve written a short, sweet (~3-minute read) [blog post](https://blog.railway.com/p/railway-dotcom) to give you the behind-the-scenes scoop on how we got here and why we’re not going anywhere... except up 🤲🏻. You’ll see we’re all in on making Railway the best place to deploy, grow and scale your apps. And trust us, we’ve just begun!

## Deployer Role for Teams

*don’t change it—just deploy it.*

🎉 **Exciting news!** We’ve just rolled out a brand-new **Deployer** role for teams!

This new role lets you invite team members with **“Can View”** permissions across all projects—meaning they can deploy your app but won’t be able to meddle with sensitive settings or variables. *Think of it like giving them a VIP pass to deploy, but keeping them out of the control room.*

It’s the perfect way to give team mates deployment powers without the risk of accidental chaos. And the best part? No more approval headaches! Deployments from your deployers will go through automatically, so you can keep shipping without hitting pause. Think of it as “Deploy and go!” with zero hassle. 🚀

## Database Backup Schedules

[Video: ..configuring database backup schedules]

[Two weeks ago](https://railway.com/changelog/2024-11-01-railway-metal-new-region), we brought you Database Backups—a game-changer for protecting your precious data. This week, we’re taking it up a notch with **Database Backup Schedules**! 🎉 Now available under a feature flag in [service settings](https://docs.railway.com/guides/services#accessing-service-settings), this feature is here to give you *less stress* and *more snapshots*.

As Larry Page said, *“Technology should do the hard work so people can do the things they value most.”* Well, that’s exactly what we had in mind. Recurrent backups mean you can spend less time worrying about your data and more time shipping the next big thing—or debating which dark mode shade is the *real* black.

With **Database Backup Schedules**, you can configure backups daily, weekly, or monthly. It’s a set-it-and-forget-it deal—like setting your coffee maker to brew your morning cup before you even wake up! ☕  Just set it up once, and we’ll handle the rest. Your data? Safe. Your mornings? Perfectly caffeinated. Your weekends? Saved!
