# Volume Data Transfer, Performance Improvements, Improved Login Modal, Drag-n-Drop Attachments in Help Station

All aboard for another festive edition of the Railway Changelog! 🚂✨

As the year winds down and the sound of jingle bells fills the air, we’ve been busy putting the final touches on this year’s feature set. Now, let’s take a moment to share what’s been happening at the station this week.

Grab your ticket and let’s unwrap the goodies we’ve packed for you, dear passenger! 🎁

## Transfer Volume Data Across Environments

We’ve frequently heard from users that they’d like the ability to copy volume data between environments, especially when creating PR environments.

We’re pleased to announce that you can now automatically copy volume data from one environment to another for all services when spinning up new PR environments.

To get started, navigate to **PR Environments** in the **Environments** section of your project settings. From there, set a base environment and toggle the **Enable Copy Volume Data** switch.

This feature is currently in beta. For more details, check out our [documentation](https://docs.railway.com/guides/environments#copy-volume-data).

## Dashboard Performance Improvements

[Two weeks ago,](https://railway.com/changelog/2024-11-29-trusted-domains) we shared that JR, our superstar engineer, was hard at work improving the performance of the dashboard canvas.

We’re excited to announce that he has delivered and deployed significant performance enhancements! Every action—whether it’s clicking or dragging nodes on the canvas—should now feel noticeably faster. If you’re working on a project with more than 5 services, these improvements should be even more apparent.

At Railway, we’re dedicated to refining every aspect of the product experience. If you encounter any bugs or have feedback, please share them with us on [Help Station](https://help.railway.com/). We’d love to hear from you!

## Improved Login Modal

*new login modal, who this?*

At Railway, our engineers obsess over every detail. We believe that small, consistent improvements lead to remarkable outcomes. This week, we took a hard look at the login modal and thought, “Nope, we can make this way better!”

Embracing our mantra, “Let the engineers ship!”, we optimised the GitHub sign-in experience for developers. Don’t worry—other login options are still available!

## Drag-n-Drop Attachments in Help Station
