# Deploy and Host AList on Railway

[AList](https://github.com/AlistGo/alist) is a file list program that shows files from many storage providers (local disk, S3, WebDAV, cloud drives) in one web interface.

## About Hosting AList

This template runs the official `xhofe/alist:latest` image with a persistent volume at `/opt/alist/data`, so the configuration and database survive redeploys. On first start AList generates a random admin password and prints it to the deploy logs (search for `initial password`). Open the public URL, sign in as `admin` with that password, change it, then add storages.

- Serve a WebDAV endpoint over your storages
- Publish a simple file index with optional sign-in
