# Deploy and Host AnythingLLM on Railway

[AnythingLLM](https://github.com/Mintplex-Labs/anything-llm) is an all-in-one AI application for chatting with your documents, running agents and building a private knowledge base with any LLM and vector database.

## About Hosting AnythingLLM

This template runs the official `mintplexlabs/anythingllm:latest` image with a persistent volume at `/app/server/storage`, which holds the database, documents and vector store. It uses the built-in SQLite database and LanceDB vector store, so no extra services are needed. On first visit the setup wizard asks you to pick an LLM provider (enter your own API key there) and optionally set an instance password.
