# Deploy and Host Bullet Bot Development on Railway

Bullet Bot is a trading bot for the Bullet perpetuals exchange. It starts paper trading on mainnet prices straight away, so you can watch what it would do with no money at risk. You own it with your Solana wallet: only that wallet can sign in, take it live or raise its limits, and you can run it from its web page, its API, or Claude over MCP.

## About Hosting Bullet Bot Development

This template runs the published bot image with everything it needs. You enter one thing: your Solana wallet address, which makes you the bot's owner. Railway attaches a volume at `/data`, where the bot keepsits trading key and state (daily loss stop, config history, approvals), so redeploys keep the same bot address. A public domain serves the bot's page, its API, the signing page and the MCP endpoint, and Railwaychecks `/health` before every deploy goes live. On a stop or redeploythe bot gets 30 seconds to cancel its orders and close positions, andtwo copies never run at once. To trade live, add the bot's address asa delegate on Bullet: the page shows the link, and the bot picks it up without a restart.

## Common Use Cases

- Paper trade a market maker on Bullet's mainnet prices before risking money
- Run a market maker, grid, funding carry, RSI momentum or trailing stop strategy around the clock
- Let Claude (or another MCP agent) watch and tune the bot, while your wallet signs anything risky

## Dependencies for Bullet Bot Development Hosting

- A Solana wallet (Phantom, Solflare, ...) to own the bot and sign changes
- A funded Bullet account, only to trade live (paper trading needs nothing)

### Deployment Dependencies

- Bullet: https://app.bullet.xyz
- Image: `ghcr.io/bulletxyz/bullet-bots`

### Implementation Details

The bot listens on port 3030 (`PORT`), keeps its state on the `/data`volume, and reports its status at `/health`: `waiting_for_delegation`means it is paper trading and ready to go live once you delegate. Going live, raising limits and unlocking riskier settings all require a signature from the owner wallet.
