# Deploy and Host ChartDB on Railway

[ChartDB](https://github.com/chartdb/chartdb) is a web tool for visualizing and designing database schemas: import a schema with one query and edit the entity-relationship diagram in the browser.

## About Hosting ChartDB

This template runs the official `ghcr.io/chartdb/chartdb:latest` image. It is a client-side web app: diagrams are stored in your browser, so no volume or database is needed. No account or password is used. AI features are optional and need an OpenAI-compatible key set as `OPENAI_API_KEY` on the service.
