# Deploy and Host Chuanhu Chat on Railway

[Chuanhu Chat](https://github.com/GaiZhenbiao/ChuanhuChatGPT) (ChuanhuChatGPT) is a web UI for ChatGPT and many other LLM APIs: chat history, file-based Q&A, web search, prompt templates and model switching in one interface.

## About Hosting Chuanhu Chat

This template runs the official `tuchuanhuhuhu/chuanhuchatgpt:latest` image (Gradio UI on port 7860). The start command writes a `config.json` that turns on login, so the public URL is not open to strangers: sign in as `admin` with the password in the service's `CHUANHU_PASSWORD` variable (generated at deploy). To use the app, add an `OPENAI_API_KEY` variable (or `DEEPSEEK_API_KEY`, `GOOGLE_GENAI_API_KEY`, and so on) and redeploy, or paste a key in the UI settings after login.

Chat history is kept inside the container and resets on redeploy.
