# Deploy and Host ConvertX on Railway

[ConvertX](https://github.com/C4illin/ConvertX) is a self-hosted online file converter. It supports more than a thousand formats across images, audio, video, documents and ebooks, using tools such as FFmpeg, ImageMagick, Pandoc and LibreOffice under the hood.

## About Hosting ConvertX

This template runs the official `ghcr.io/c4illin/convertx` image with a persistent volume at `/app/data` for the user database and converted files. A `JWT_SECRET` is generated for you. Account registration is closed by default, so open the deployed URL right after the deploy and create the first account yourself: on a fresh instance the first visitor can register it.
