# Deploy and Host Focalboard on Railway

[Focalboard](https://github.com/mattermost-community/focalboard) is an open-source, self-hosted project management tool with kanban boards, tables, galleries and calendars.

## About Hosting Focalboard

This template runs the `mattermost/focalboard` image with a persistent volume at `/opt/focalboard/data`, so boards and uploaded files survive redeploys. The data is stored in a built-in SQLite database. On first visit register the first account; it becomes the administrator. Note that the upstream project is community-maintained and its published image has not been updated recently.
