# Deploy and Host Grafana on Railway

[Grafana](https://github.com/grafana/grafana) is an open-source platform for dashboards, alerting and exploring metrics, logs and traces from sources such as Prometheus, Loki, PostgreSQL and many more.

## About Hosting Grafana

This template runs the official `grafana/grafana:latest` image with a persistent volume at `/var/lib/grafana`, so dashboards, users and data sources survive redeploys. The admin user is `admin`, and its password is generated into the `GF_SECURITY_ADMIN_PASSWORD` variable of the service; read it in the Variables tab in Railway and sign in at the public URL.
