# Deploy and Host Halo on Railway

[Halo](https://github.com/halo-dev/halo) is an open-source website builder and CMS for blogs, forums and product sites, with a plugin and theme system.

## About Hosting Halo

This template runs the official `halohub/halo:2.27` image with the built-in H2 database and a persistent volume at `/root/.halo2`, so posts, themes, plugins and settings survive redeploys. Until the setup wizard is completed the site root shows a 404 message: open `/system/setup` on your domain, create the admin account, then the site and `/console` work normally.
