# Deploy and Host Memos on Railway

[Memos](https://github.com/usememos/memos) is a self-hosted, open-source note-taking service for capturing short notes, ideas and snippets in Markdown, with a timeline view and tags.

## About Hosting Memos

This template runs the official `neosmemo/memos:stable` image with a persistent volume at `/var/opt/memos`, so your notes and the built-in SQLite database survive redeploys. On first visit, create the first account; it becomes the host (admin) of the instance.
