# Deploy and Host Navidrome on Railway

[Navidrome](https://github.com/navidrome/navidrome) is a self-hosted music server: it indexes your music collection and streams it to the browser and to Subsonic-compatible mobile and desktop apps.

## About Hosting Navidrome

This template runs the official `deluan/navidrome:latest` image with a persistent volume at `/data`. The database, cache and settings live on the volume and survive redeploys. Upload music to the volume and point Navidrome at it with the `ND_MUSICFOLDER` variable (default `/music`).

## Common Use Cases

- Stream a personal music library from anywhere
- Use it with Subsonic-compatible apps on phones and desktops
- Share a library with family through separate accounts

## Why Deploy Navidrome on Railway?
