# Deploy and Host NewsNow on Railway

[NewsNow](https://github.com/newsnext/newsnow) is a clean reader for real-time trending news: it pulls hot lists from dozens of news sites and communities into one page of columns.

## About Hosting NewsNow

This template runs the official `ghcr.io/ourongxing/newsnow:latest` image with a volume at `/usr/app/.data` for its SQLite data. A random `JWT_SECRET` is generated. Open the URL after the deploy and start reading; no setup is needed. Optional GitHub login (to sync your column layout) needs a GitHub OAuth app: add `G_CLIENT_ID` and `G_CLIENT_SECRET` variables with callback `https:///api/oauth/github`.
