# Deploy and Host NextChat on Railway

[NextChat](https://github.com/ChatGPTNextWeb/NextChat) is a light and fast AI chat web app that works with OpenAI, Claude, Gemini and other model providers.

## About Hosting NextChat

This template runs the official `yidadaa/chatgpt-next-web:latest` image. It needs no database: chats are stored in your browser. On first visit open Settings and enter your own API key and endpoint for the provider you use. To pre-set a server-side key or an access password, add `OPENAI_API_KEY`, `GOOGLE_API_KEY` or `CODE` in the service's Variables tab.
