# Deploy and Host PocketBase on Railway

[PocketBase](https://github.com/pocketbase/pocketbase) is an open source backend in a single binary: an embedded SQLite database with realtime subscriptions, user authentication, file storage and an admin dashboard.

## About Hosting PocketBase

This template runs the community `ghcr.io/muchobien/pocketbase:latest` image (PocketBase has no official image) with a volume at `/pb_data`, so the database and uploads survive redeploys. Set `PB_ADMIN_EMAIL` to your email when deploying: the superuser is created on start with the generated `PB_ADMIN_PASSWORD` (see the service variables). Then sign in at `/_/`.
