- A workspace token from a free "open source" RudderStack account.

### Deployment Dependencies

*To get a workspace token:*

1. Sign up [here](https://app.rudderstack.com/signup?type=opensource) for an open source RudderStack account. *Make sure you choose open source and not RudderStack cloud*. If you use the link above, you're safe.

2. In your RudderStack open source dashboard, go to Settings > Workspace and copy your "Workspace Token". This is the only environment variable you need to deploy this template.

3. After deploy, you can follow [these instructions](https://www.rudderstack.com/docs/get-started/rudderstack-open-source/sending-test-events/) to send a test event to your instance and verify it is receiving.
