# Deploy and Host Stirling PDF on Railway

[Stirling PDF](https://github.com/Stirling-Tools/Stirling-PDF) is a self-hosted web app with dozens of PDF tools: merge, split, rotate, compress, convert, add watermarks, sign, redact, run OCR and more. Files are processed on your own server.

## About Hosting Stirling PDF

This template runs the official `stirlingtools/stirling-pdf:latest` image with a persistent volume at `/configs` for settings. Login is off by default, so the tools are available as soon as the deploy finishes; open the generated URL and start using them. If you keep the instance public, anyone with the link can use it, so consider enabling login in the settings or keeping the URL private.
