# Deploy and Host VERT on Railway

[VERT](https://github.com/VERT-sh/VERT) is an open-source file converter for images, audio, documents and more. Conversions run locally in the browser with WebAssembly, so files stay on the visitor's device.

## About Hosting VERT

This template runs the official `ghcr.io/vert-sh/vert:latest` image, a static site served by nginx on port 80. There is no account or setup: open the URL and drop in a file. Video conversion is handed to VERT's public `vertd` server by default; everything else runs in the browser.
