This week was “Fix It” week at Railway and we’ve got a TON of fixes going out the door. We will share the themes of our efforts in this post. For an exhaustive list of what the team fixed- please see the Improvements and Fixes section at the bottom. 

Keep the feedback coming. Users have reported a number of quality of life affecting issues in the new experience that we addressed this week. Those with CLI deploys using Metro will have a much better time for sure.

The team is working on a few UI organization improvements that we expect to release next week but require more tinkering.

We focused more on curbing abuse on the platform with the ban hammer swung a few times for good measure. Meanwhile, we spent an evening performing maintenance on our servers.

In addition, we hardened up deployment logs in anticipation for something new coming soon™️.

In Metro UI - when creating a service for a GH project, the variables should be added to the service instead of the env plugin.

Fixed an issue where sometimes a container would fail to teardown during cleanup, leaving a phantom container

Show removed deploys switch if there are no deploys in Metro UI

Fixed an issue where multiple changelog emails were sent. (Sorry!)

Fixed a broken Twitter profile image link for the landing page
