We’re entering the final stretch of the year, which means that when we’re not busy planning a huge 2023, we’re shipping out all the polish improvements we can find.
Let us know on Discord if there’s a visual element in Railway that bothers you enough that you think we should fix it. We’ll do our best!
Plugin Variables Now Visible

Did you know that Railway exposes plugin variables at the service level?
If you didn’t, it’s because we never gave you a visual cue for that. 🤦♂️
Until now! Within the Variables tab of a service, Railway now displays the variables exposed to the service by connected plugins.
Jump into your service-level settings to get started.
Improvements to Code Editor

We’re not done making improvements to how you manage variables on Railway!
To make it easier to manage a long list of vars, we cleaned up the raw variable editor.
You should notice a better experience with details like text wrapping and responsiveness. We also fixed a number of bugs that made using the code editor less than optimal.
Community Call

The next Railway Community Call is scheduled!
We’ll be hosting the call on Discord on Dec 9th, 2022 at 5 PM EST.
Please use this link to RSVP and feel free to submit your questions ahead of time here.
We will be answering the questions with the most votes during the call and inviting listeners to join us on stage to participate.
For those who can’t make it, the call will be recorded and posted on YouTube.
