Grease month continues at Railway and we are hard at work making foundational improvements on the platform. Doesn’t mean we have nothing for ya. The work on 

 continues and a number of infrastructure improvements remain abound.

Railway fully manages variables for each of your services. It is not uncommon for users to eventually have up to 50+ environment secrets for their service. We felt it was time to improve the experience of editing those variables.

Now, the variables tab within the service view has a new empty state, better copy, and most of all, a single modal where you can add, remove, and edit variables in two different formats. 

We pride ourselves on maintaining close contact with our users big and small. Teams on our platform may have nuanced needs that require more consideration and a higher bandwidth conversation. 

Before, we would manually create a Discord channel and invite teams person by person. Now, that is fully automated.

Teams will now get automatically invited to a Discord channel with the team where they can share feedback, ask questions, and raise concerns with the product. All your team members have to do is:
