Thanks to our awesome community we’ve now battle-hardened a new version of the CLI for release. Railway CLI v3.0.12 is stable and now marked as GA! 

In case there was something else in the news grabbing your attention, we should remind you that it’s in Rust and is 10x faster than the existing CLI. As a result, developing with the new CLI is better than ever. It even has its own hype video!

Railway is now serving a number of Fortune 500 companies and that means that we’re pleased to announce a new support offering:

Business Class is an add-on to the Teams plan where we offer concierge onboarding and service-level objectives. If you thought a Discord channel was good … we can now embed the support you know and love directly into your company’s Slack.

At the same time, we’ve officially hit our limits with the Discord API.  We are sunsetting Direct Support for Teams in Discord. All teams created before March 17th, 2023 will still have access to our Discord channels for the foreseeable future, but no new Direct Support channels will be created after that date.

After a false start last week, we can confidently say we're now shadowing requests with the new edge network. We have upgraded our Envoy instances with flamethrowers, lasers, and we have stationed them in areas other than US-West 1. (Pending customs approval.)

Given how critical this migration is, we're going slow so that there's less than zero probability of disruption of services for our users. Following the edge network rollout, we'll be able to ship:

We are generating new certs that support wildcard domains as we speak, but have yet to expose this within the UI. We promise we will soon stop teasing you here but we can’t wait for this to finally roll out.

We are now open for invoicing! If you need a Purchase Order, we are now fulfilling them via email

We’ve upgraded to React 18 and Next 13. Thank you all in Priority Boarding who helped us catch bugs in the rollout

The docs are also now on React 18. We also enabled hot-reloading for editing the content of the docs
