Launch Week 01 Has Arrived at Its Destination

Our first ever Launch Week was a great success!

If you haven’t had a look yet, be sure to check out the final version of our Launch Week 01 landing page.

Let’s get into what we shipped this week!

Day 01 - Regions

On Monday, we released Regions, lighting up three new availability zones around the world for the very first time:

Day 02 - Next-Gen Databases

On Tuesday, we released Next-Gen Databases, opening up Railway to run ANY kind of database in addition to the four that we already supported (Postgres, Mongo, Redis, and MySQL). We also recorded a session with our friends at Prisma:

Day 03 - Horizontal Scaling

On Wednesday, we announced Horizontal Scaling to up to 50 replicas per project. This is a huge win for production users we can’t wait to see how you scale:

Day 04 - Changesets

On Thursday, we announced Changesets, a new way to version infrastructure just like application code directly from within Railway:

Day 05 - Workflows (And One More Thing)

Finally, today we announced a new set of Observability features, a generally available Public API, a Secrets Management/Rotation integration with our friends at Doppler, and (one more thing) Scale to Zero!

It was a huge week and we’re thankful for your support.

Once again, please be sure to check out the Launch Week page, and find us on Twitter or Discord to tell us what you thought and what you think we should build next.

Thanks for riding,
