You already know by now that Railway is racking our own hardware for our and your benefit. (Mostly yours.) Great news! Volumes are now deployable on Railway Metal.

Benchmarks already show that Metal Volumes can be up to 10x faster in certain scenarios.

Metrics don’t exist for Metal Volumes yet

You can’t move your volume from GCP to Metal

While Volumes on Metal is still in beta, we want to make sure the experience is reliable and tough as nails before opening the gates for full migrations from GCP to Metal.
