With that out of the way, let’s get into what we’ve shipped this week (while the bots take the wheel and we all pretend this is normal).

You can now connect GitHub to multiple Railway accounts in your account settings

, where you can earn a whopping 15% commission on every dollar your referrals spend on Railway within the first 12 months. This week we're giving you another reason to bring Railway to work... 

Previously, if you signed up for Railway using your GitHub account, you were locked into using only that account and couldn't link your GitHub to any other Railway accounts. 

Unfortunately this created a major inconvenience — if you wanted to bring Railway to work (

), you couldn’t connect your GitHub account to your work-related Railway account. Fortunately, that limitation is now lifted. You can now connect your GitHub account to multiple Railway accounts. 

Here's how it works: the Railway account you initially sign up with via GitHub will retain GitHub as the primary login method. Any other Railway accounts that you connect your GitHub to will not use GitHub for login but they can access GitHub-related content (like repositories) where authorized.

New comparison docs show how Railway stacks up against the competition

One of the most common requests we get is to compare Railway against other platforms. We’ve put some serious muscle into re-writing our comparison guides to give you a better, fuller picture of the Railway advantages.

Project sophistication: Your project solves a real problem, uses multiple services, and shows off what’s possible with a full end-to-end Railway setup. Bonus points if published on the 

Content depth: You write something genuinely useful about your project: detailed, clear, and helpful for other devs

Each category can have up to 3 winners (1st place: $1000, 2nd place $500, 3rd place $200)

The Railway team will review submissions, and the community will have a vote too. Bonus points if you share your project on social media and tag us, which could tip the scales in your favor during close calls.

The hackathon will run between Aug 6th – Aug 11th, so make sure to submit your project during those dates. Winners will be announced on August 15th. Make sure to beef up your template for
