こんにちは! This week, the fully remote Railway team descended on Kyoto, Japan for our biannual retreat, a week dedicated to planning, in-person collaboration, and exploring one of the most beautiful cities in the world.
Between roadmap sessions and whiteboard debates, we wandered through bamboo groves, visited ancient temples, and ate enough ramen and matcha to last us through Q2. Cherry blossom season made for a pretty spectacular backdrop to our planning sessions.

Fixes and improvements
- We shipped automatic updates for the Railway CLI. The CLI now keeps itself up to date, so you're always running the latest version. Previously, you had to manually check for and install updates.
- We shipped peak hour deploy restrictions for Trial plan users. To ensure better reliability for users on paid plans, Trial plan users are restricted from deploying during peak usage periods.
