About Hosting Baserow

This Railway template provides a minimal self-hosted Baserow deployment using the official all-in-one Baserow image.

The deployment includes the components required to run Baserow in a single service, including its application services, PostgreSQL database, and Redis instance. Persistent storage keeps your Baserow data available across deployments and container restarts.

Once deployed, Baserow is accessible directly through the Railway-generated public domain.

This setup is ideal when you want a simple Baserow instance without managing multiple database, cache, worker, and frontend services separately.

Dependencies for Baserow Hosting

This template uses the official Baserow all-in-one Docker image.

The image includes the core services required by Baserow, including:

• Baserow frontend and backend
• PostgreSQL
• Redis
• Background workers
• Persistent application data

A Railway volume is mounted at:

/baserow/data

This volume stores persistent Baserow data and prevents it from being lost when the container is restarted or redeployed.

Important Configuration

The most important configuration is the public Baserow URL.

BASEROW_PUBLIC_URL should point to the public Railway domain assigned to your Baserow service.

The template handles the remaining baseline configuration required for a minimal deployment.
