Deploy BentoPDF

Deploy and Host BentoPDF on Railway

BentoPDF is a privacy-first PDF toolkit: merge, split, compress, convert, sign, OCR and edit PDFs right in the browser. Files are processed on the visitor's device and never uploaded to the server.

About Hosting BentoPDF

This template runs the official self-hosted build ghcr.io/alam00000/bentopdf-simple:latest, a static site served by nginx on port 8080. There is no account, database or setup: open the URL and pick a tool.

Common Use Cases

  • Give a team a private PDF toolbox instead of upload-based online services
  • Merge, split, compress and convert PDFs without installing software
  • OCR scans, fill forms and add signatures in the browser

Dependencies for BentoPDF Hosting

  • One stateless service; nothing else

Deployment Dependencies

Why Deploy BentoPDF on Railway?

Railway gives you a public HTTPS URL and automatic restarts with no server to maintain. The app is static, so it stays light and cheap to run.
