Deploy and Host Lead Rescue AI by Dev101Labs on Railway

Capture inbound inquiries, prioritize them for a human, and track follow-up from a single dashboard. Lead Rescue AI by Dev101Labs is a self-hosted lead management starter for small service businesses and agencies, with optional AI qualification and verified email testing.

About Hosting Lead Rescue AI by Dev101Labs

Deploy one isolated business dashboard with a web service, background worker and persistent databases. Railway generates administrator and infrastructure credentials for your installation. The web service exposes an HTTPS domain while the worker, PostgreSQL and Redis communicate privately. Start with demo leads and simulated follow-up; no external provider accounts are required for simulation. To enable controlled real AI and email tests, supply your own provider keys, verify a sending and receiving subdomain, and complete the owner reply/STOP checks. The approved tester portal then enforces consent and usage limits. Review backups and operational requirements before using customer data.

What you get

  • Business onboarding and industry presets.
  • Lead capture, qualification summaries, pipeline stages, notes and human takeover.
  • Persistent follow-up scheduling with a separate worker.
  • Simulation available immediately without AI or email keys.
  • Optional Groq, Gemini or OpenAI qualification using your own account.
  • Resend delivery status, signed reply routing, STOP handling and suppression.
  • Approved tester portal with consent and daily/lifetime AI and email limits.
  • Private administrator login and generated deployment credentials.

Common Use Cases

An HVAC company organizing repair inquiries, a photography studio tracking booking requests, or an agency setting up isolated lead dashboards for clients. Each deployment owns its database and provider credentials. This is a single-business installation; it does not include multi-tenant SaaS billing or a shared agency control panel.

Dependencies for Lead Rescue AI by Dev101Labs Hosting

The template creates web + worker + PostgreSQL + Redis. Web is public; worker and databases use private networking. Railway hosting and optional AI/email fees are paid by the deployer. Free provider tiers have quotas and can change; the template does not include unlimited AI or free Railway hosting.

Both app services use private, versioned container images. Source access and redistribution rights are not included. Provider integrations start disabled. Follow the setup guide to verify your own domain and administrator email before enabling approved tester delivery. General unrestricted delivery and SMS are outside the initial supported launch.

Why Deploy Lead Rescue AI by Dev101Labs on Railway?

Railway hosts the web app, queue worker and persistent databases together, with generated service references and one public HTTPS entry point. You control your own deployment, domain and provider accounts. Hosting and external provider usage remain your responsibility.

First setup

  1. Enter your own ADMIN_EMAIL when deploying. Keep the generated secrets private. Wait for web health, then open its HTTPS URL and sign in at /login with the generated web ADMIN_PASSWORD. Change your password at /account and remove the bootstrap password variable after login. Keep ADMIN_EMAIL; changing the variable does not rename an existing account.
  2. Complete business onboarding and create a fictional demo. Qualification works without a provider key and messages remain simulated. Integrations includes your first-test checklist and expandable provider setup instructions. Verify the worker shows Running. Back up PostgreSQL before collecting real customer data.
  3. For optional Groq AI, privately set GROQ_API_KEY on web and verify the configured model is available. Enable AI_TEST_ENABLED=true for the private fictional administrator test (20 lifetime attempts). Check qualification mode: provider failures fall back to deterministic scoring.
  4. For email, use your own dedicated Resend account. Verify your sending subdomain and a receiving subdomain; preserve existing website/mailbox DNS. Set worker RESEND_API_KEY to a Sending key restricted to that domain, and set EMAIL_FROM to its verified sender. On web set RESEND_RECEIVING_API_KEY and the signing secret RESEND_WEBHOOK_SECRET. Receiving requires a full-access Resend key, so keep this in a dedicated account rather than a shared team. Set web INBOUND_EMAIL_DOMAIN to your receiving subdomain; worker inherits it. Keep the generated shared EMAIL_REPLY_SECRET stable.
  5. Create your Resend webhook at https://YOUR-APP-DOMAIN/api/webhooks/resend for incoming email and delivery/bounce/complaint events. Enable EMAIL_BETA_TEST_ENABLED=true on web (worker inherits it). Under Integrations create owner tests 1 and 2; reply normally to 1 and STOP to 2. Verify inbound recording, opt-out and follow-up cancellation. Integrations shows remaining tests and provider-recorded reply/STOP checks; manual reply recording does not verify the integration. Only two owner tests are available per fresh database. Failed creation preserves the allowance.
  6. For approved testers, set web BETA_TESTER_EMAILS to the agreed addresses, BETA_ENABLED=true, BETA_AI_ENABLED=true, and BETA_EMAIL_ENABLED=true. Worker inherits access/email flags. Testers use /beta/login and explicitly consent; messages go to their own approved address. AI and lead-email limits are independently 5/tester/day, 20/global/day and 100/round (UTC). Sign-in email has separate limits. Keep AI_LIVE_ENABLED=false and ALLOW_LIVE_DELIVERY=false in this initial beta.

Only web needs public networking. Keep database volumes and private references. Provider secrets belong in Railway Variables, never browser code or Git. When updating images, back up first and review migration compatibility. Changing an image does not undo database migrations. Monitor provider quotas, key expiration and Railway usage.

Optional setup and care from Dev101Labs

$299 one-time setup: one business deployment, business onboarding, one sender/receiving subdomain, one supported AI provider, and a controlled acceptance session. Customer provides domain/account access through approved flows and pays hosting/provider costs. No customer outreach campaigns or custom integrations are included.

$49/month optional maintenance: routine app update assistance, monthly health review, and email help for this installation. Custom development, managed hosting, 24/7 incident response and provider fees are separate. Scope and payment are agreed before work starts; no payment is taken through this template.

Contact info@dev101labs.com for setup or support. Revenue and conversion improvements depend on your process and are not guaranteed. The template is an initial beta product; review the buyer guide and current limitations before using customer data.
