Deploy and Host linkding on Railway

linkding is a self-hosted bookmark manager that is designed to be minimal, fast and easy to set up.

About Hosting linkding

This template runs the official sissbruecker/linkding:latest image with a persistent volume at /etc/linkding/data (SQLite database, favicons, snapshots). An admin account named admin is created on first start; its password is the generated LD_SUPERUSER_PASSWORD variable on the service.

Common Use Cases

  • Save, tag and search your bookmarks and reading list
  • Archive pages and share bookmarks
  • Use the browser extension or REST API to add links

Dependencies for linkding Hosting

  • One service with a volume; nothing else

Why Deploy linkding on Railway?

Railway gives you a public HTTPS URL, a persistent volume and automatic restarts with no server to maintain. Open the URL, sign in as admin with the password from the service variables, then change it in the settings.
