Openfront Cannabis is a self-hostable dispensary menu and operator application. It connects public menu discovery and customer intake with eligibility decisions, POS, register and cash operations, package inventory, receiving, recalls, incidents, and reconciliation. Operation remains subject to licensing, market policy, and approved providers.

About Hosting Openfront Cannabis

This template provisions the application from its GitHub repository, PostgreSQL, and a private native Railway Bucket named Storage. The database starts empty; no demo records or reusable credentials are included. Initialize the application using the repository's onboarding instructions after deployment.

DATABASE_URL references Postgres and the five S3_* variables reference the Storage bucket. Generated per deployment: SESSION_SECRET.

The app gets a Railway-generated public domain. No custom domains are included.

Manage platform through dedicated dashboard workspaces and permission-controlled data screens.

Storefront

The public root page provides the dispensary menu and customer-intake experience. Public data and operator workspaces are exposed through separate queries and commands.

Eligibility & Point of Sale

Capture intake and eligibility evidence, create pickup or staff POS carts, allocate packages, and finalize sales through controlled commands.

Package Inventory & Receiving

Receive regulated packages, record inventory events, manage holds, and track manifests, recalls, and package disposition.

Cash, Authority & Compliance

Open and close register shifts, record tenders and refunds, approve cash variances, manage authority records, track incidents, and review reconciliation. Integration inbox and outbox records do not constitute state-provider certification.
