About Hosting Plane

This template deploys the Plane Community Edition v1.4.0 application services behind one Caddy 2.11.4 HTTPS origin. PostgreSQL stores application records, Redis supports cache and transient state, RabbitMQ carries background jobs, and MinIO persists uploads and attachments.

Only the Plane proxy receives a public HTTP domain. Web, API, admin, spaces, live collaboration, PostgreSQL, Redis, RabbitMQ, and object-storage traffic use Railway private networking.

Implementation Details

The template runs dedicated web, admin, spaces, API, live, worker, beat, and migrator processes. The migrator prepares the database and object-storage bucket before the API and workers settle. Generated signing, database, queue, cache, and object-storage credentials are shared through Railway references rather than serialized values.

Open the generated Plane domain after deployment. Complete instance setup through /god-mode/, then create a workspace and invite users. Keep internal services private; the proxy already routes all browser, API, live, and upload paths through the public origin.

Plane is a substantial multi-service stack. Allocate enough memory for the API, workers, frontend services, and four stateful dependencies before enabling production traffic.
