Rustrak is a lightweight self-hosted error tracker that accepts events from any Sentry SDK, with logs, transactions, release health and a built-in dashboard in a single process.

About Hosting Rustrak

This template runs the official rustrak/rustrak-server:latest image (SQLite backend) with a persistent volume at /data. The first admin is created on startup: sign in with email admin@example.com and the password shown in the CREATE_SUPERUSER variable on the service Variables tab (the part after the colon), then change it. PUBLIC_URL is set to your Railway domain so project DSNs are reachable. Anonymous telemetry is turned off.

Why Deploy Rustrak on Railway?

Railway gives you a public HTTPS URL, a persistent volume and automatic restarts with no server to maintain. The admin password is generated for you, so the dashboard is not open to strangers.
