Deploy and Host ZincSearch on Railway
ZincSearch is a lightweight search engine written in Go: it indexes JSON documents and offers a web UI plus an Elasticsearch-compatible API for ingesting and searching them.
About Hosting ZincSearch
This template runs the official public.ecr.aws/zinclabs/zincsearch:0.4.10 image on port 4080 with a persistent volume at /data for indexes. The first admin account is created from the service variables ZINC_FIRST_ADMIN_USER and ZINC_FIRST_ADMIN_PASSWORD; both are generated at deploy time. Open the service Variables tab to read them, then sign in at the public URL.
Common Use Cases
- Full-text search over application logs and documents
- A small alternative to Elasticsearch for apps that need basic search
- Ingest data through the Elasticsearch-compatible bulk API
Dependencies for ZincSearch Hosting
- One service with a volume; nothing else

Why Deploy ZincSearch on Railway?
Railway gives you a public HTTPS URL, a persistent volume and automatic restarts with no server to maintain. The admin login is protected by a generated password, so the instance is not open to strangers.
