Deploy and Host AList on Railway

AList is a file list program that shows files from many storage providers (local disk, S3, WebDAV, cloud drives) in one web interface.

About Hosting AList

This template runs the official xhofe/alist:latest image with a persistent volume at /opt/alist/data, so the configuration and database survive redeploys. On first start AList generates a random admin password and prints it to the deploy logs (search for initial password). Open the public URL, sign in as admin with that password, change it, then add storages.

Common Use Cases

  • Browse and share files from several cloud drives in one place
  • Serve a WebDAV endpoint over your storages
  • Publish a simple file index with optional sign-in

Dependencies for AList Hosting

  • One service with a volume; nothing else

Why Deploy AList on Railway?

Railway gives you a public HTTPS URL, a persistent volume and automatic restarts with no server to maintain.
