Deploy and Host BankMCP on Railway

BankMCP is a self-hosted, read-only MCP server that gives AI assistants access to your own bank accounts through open banking (Enable Banking).

About Hosting BankMCP

This template runs the official ghcr.io/noskillish/bankmcp:latest image with a persistent volume at /data that holds settings and OAuth tokens. A random ADMIN_PASSWORD is generated into the service variables: read it in the Variables tab in Railway. BASE_URL is set to the public Railway domain. Open the URL, sign in with that password and enter your Enable Banking application id and private key in the setup page. Then add https:///mcp as a remote MCP server in your AI client.

Why Deploy BankMCP on Railway?

Railway gives you a public HTTPS URL, persistent storage where needed and automatic restarts with no server to maintain. Keep the generated admin password private: it grants access to your accounts.
