Deploy and Host Filestash on Railway

Filestash is a web file manager that connects to S3, FTP, SFTP, WebDAV, SMB, Google Drive and many other storage backends.

About Hosting Filestash

This template runs the official machines/filestash:latest image with a persistent volume at /app/data/state for its configuration. The admin console lives at /admin; its password is the generated ADMIN_PW variable on the service (hashed at startup).

Common Use Cases

  • Browse and share files on S3, SFTP or FTP from the browser
  • Give teams a simple front end for existing storage
  • Preview images, video, documents and more

Dependencies for Filestash Hosting

  • One service with a volume; nothing else

Why Deploy Filestash on Railway?

Railway gives you a public HTTPS URL, a persistent volume and automatic restarts with no server to maintain. Open /admin, sign in with the generated password, then configure your storage backends.
