Deploy and Host Multica (invite-only) on Railway
Multica is a task board where your team assigns issues to AI coding agents, such as Claude Code and Codex, alongside people. Only the email you enter at deploy and the teammates you invite can sign up.

About Hosting Multica (invite-only)
Sign in at the Multica URL with that email. The 6-digit code comes by email once you add a Resend key (any plan), or from the Backend service's Deploy Logs. Invite teammates under Settings, Members.
Connect an agent from your computer
- Install an agent CLI such as Claude Code or Codex, then the Multica CLI. macOS or Linux:
curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/multica-ai/multica/main/scripts/install.sh | bash
Windows (PowerShell):
irm https://raw.githubusercontent.com/multica-ai/multica/main/scripts/install.ps1 | iex
- Connect it to your server, with your Multica URL in both places. Your browser opens to sign in, then the daemon keeps running in the background:
multica setup self-host --server-url https://your-multica.up.railway.app --app-url https://your-multica.up.railway.app
- Check that it found your agent CLIs:
multica daemon status. Multica shows the same commands, with your URL filled in, under Runtimes, Add a machine. - In Multica, open Agents, create an agent on your computer's runtime, and assign it an issue.
Common Use Cases
- Assign issues to coding agents
- Track people and agents together
- Review agent runs and comments
Dependencies for Multica (invite-only) Hosting
- Multica (web app)
- Backend (API and WebSocket server)
- Postgres

Implementation Details

Back up Postgres and the Backend volume (attachments). About 0.35 GB at idle; each service fits the Free plan. Multica's license covers your own organization; hosting it for others needs a commercial license.
