Deploy and Host Paseo on Railway
Paseo is a self-hosted orchestrator for coding agents such as Claude Code, Codex, OpenCode, and Pi. This template deploys the official daemon and bundled web UI so you can manage agents from any browser.
About Hosting Paseo
This template runs the official ghcr.io/getpaseo/paseo:latest Docker image. The container starts the Paseo daemon and serves the web UI on port 6767. You need a persistent volume mounted at /home/paseo to keep daemon state and agent credentials, a strong password in the PASEO_PASSWORD variable, and a public domain with the target port set to 6767. After deployment you open the generated Railway domain, authenticate with the password, and begin connecting agents or installing plugins.
Common Use Cases
- Self-host a personal or team coding-agent orchestrator
- Run Claude Code, Codex, or OpenCode on a remote Railway service
- Access agents from a phone or browser without a local desktop app
- Keep a persistent environment for AI-assisted development work
Dependencies for Paseo Hosting
- Official Docker image
ghcr.io/getpaseo/paseo:latest - Persistent Volume mounted at
/home/paseo - Public domain with target port 6767
- Strong password set in
PASEO_PASSWORD
Implementation Details
Set PASEO_HOSTNAMES to your Railway public domain after it is generated for the most reliable connections. Agent CLIs are not included in the base image; you can extend the image if you need them pre-installed.
